The Brief Introduction of Shanghai Futures Association
Shanghai Futures Association (SHFA), which was founded on March 18th, 2004, is composed of futures brokerage companies, branches, futures investment consulting companies, banks serving for cash settlement, institutions for futures intermediary service and other investment organizations.
SHFA is composed of 120 organization members currently, in which there are 26 futures brokerage companies, 85 branches, 5 banks, 2 software companies, 1 investment & consultation Co,. Ltd. and 1 information & consultation Co,. Ltd. All top futures companies in Shanghai are enjoying membership of SHFA.
Under the principle of "service, cooperation, self-regulatory, development", SHFA has been conducting a series of works on serving for the members, promoting the self-regulatory and communication, strengthening self construction since the foundation. SHFA has received the approvals and praises from the government and futures industry.
SHFA has organized successfully around 100 activities covering market and talent training, promotion of the futures knowledge and communication, etc. Furthermore, SHFA has been organizing China (Shanghai) International Futures investment Conference since 2004, which is a pioneer event at home.
SHFA will insist on the policy for fostering futures market, developing sincerity cultural construction, strengthening self-construction. Furthermore, SHFA will also conduct the talent training and reeducation programs for employees, promoting the overall quality of local future industry.
